The Catching of the Moth

Hmmmm, this was done mostly so I could work on hands, material, and metal. I don't know if I like it but there is something compelling for me about this. I think it's the eyes. So freakin BIG.

But the premise is that the green eyed youth (It's a youth, yes.) is a seer. He lives in a high tower with no door and within the tower he constantly is wrapped in possible futures of the world. He only acts on his visions when it is absolutely necessary and his wishes, whims, thoughts, etc. go into the world from his one window in the form of those pale green Luna Moths and they change things. Now, this would be the end of the matter had not our young seer had repeated dreams of a certain young mercenary that his visions proclaimed could very well bring an end to war and usher in a time of peace.....BUT it would only be a peace under an iron handed ruler. Still, the seer feels compelled to try and is drawn to the young man.

Over time, however, the warrior realizes his life is being manipulated and he is smart enough to seek out why fate has suddenly turned so kind.

At last, the two are forced to meet and the young seer gets caught in the intense desires and passions of the King. For a moment, the seer can enjoy today but he knows that the future is anything but Happy Ever After and the more he meddles....the more likely he too will be a victim of fate.
